I am a Canadian badminton player who has represented Canada on the International Badminton circuit for over 7 years (for more info see ‘about me’)
I have been coached by one of the best badminton players there has ever been, Kim Dong Moon of Korea. He was my personal coach for over a year while I was training at the Calgary Winter Club. He took me to Korea to train and he also coached me at the 2009 World Championships in India (made top 32 in mixed doubles). He coached me to a Mixed Doubles Canadian National Championship title in 2009.
Kim gave me a new understanding of a game that I had already been training and competing in for years. He showed me a new side to badminton along with new footwork and racket strokes. He helped me become a student of the game of badminton.
I hope to share this knowledge and much more with everyone. I want players and coaches to know the things that I wish I had have known at the beginning of my competitive badminton career.
I want to thank Kim and all the other great badminton coaches I have had over my entire badminton career. I have learned important skills, strategies, and techniques from all my coaches and they all have had a part in my badminton success.
Thank You
